Miss Ghana thanks Chocho

Nana Akua Baafi Guiseppine, Miss Ghana 2013Miss Ghana 2013, Nana Akua Giuseppina Baafi, has paid a courtesy call on the management of Chocho Industries Limited, official skincare sponsor for the event, at its Suhum head office.

Ms Baafi, and Margaret Kuma Mintah and Crystal Selorm Amudzi, who finished as first and  second runners-up respectively, as well as Inna Mariam Patty, a former Miss Ghana and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Exclusive Events, visited the factory site last Friday to express their appreciation to the leadership of Chocho Industries.

“We are here to say a very big thank you for supporting us as the official skincare sponsor from the very first day till now and to congratulate you on your 10th anniversary. We hope to have a fruitful working relationship with you in the coming years.”

“Chalking 10 years is no mean achievement. We wish you well in your endeavours, and we are indeed grateful,” Patty, who led the winners, said.

The Head of Chocho Industries Public Relations, Mr Kojo Sahara, indicated that the sponsorship formed part of the Chocho Foundation’s desire to support the community in which it operated.

“We at Chocho believe in supporting projects and empowering the youth. We take delight in the fact that the project, I mean supporting the pageant we set our hands to, has yielded results, with Ms Baafi emerging as the ultimate winner. We celebrate with her and we will continue to empower the youth in the country and support such projects,” said Mr Sahara.

The company presented Chocho products to the team.

As part of their 10th anniversary, Chocho Industries embarked on a series of activities such as organising Inter-faith Games, calling on the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Nuhu Sharabutu; the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Ahmed Alhassan and the Christian Council of Ghana to drum home the importance of peace and how to sustain it.
