Jak Alolome brings ' Waye Awie'
Jacob Kwaw, known in the gospel music fraternity as Jak Alolome, is out with his third album titled Waye Awie.
The artiste’s two previous albums helped make him a noticeable figure in gospel music circles.
He told Showbiz in a chat last weekend that he was excited about the new release because it would bring fulfillment to lovers of pure worship music.
The album is made up of 24 tracks divided into two sections: worship songs and prayer songs.
Some of the tracks on the album are Hena Ne Me Yehowa, Odo Ben Ni, Yesu Aye Bi, Owu De Gye Me, Gyedi Kese, Wo Asafo Nti, Ne Din Jesus and Twe Me Ben Wo.
The album can be described as a means to give Christians who sometimes get short of words when praying, the opportunity to render their supplications to God.
The tracks are not just nice melodies with good backing vocals. Also they are packaged prayers rendered in tongues, English and Twi.
The title track, Waye Awie encourages people going through trying moments not to give up but look up to the abundant love of God for strength and comfort.
Another song that seeks to cheer up believers is Mebre M’akoma Ase which tells of surrender to God and total faith in His word.
Due to the cool and solemn nature of the songs, it appears they could be best enjoyed in the evenings or at dawn when everywhere is cool since such times are often the perfect moments for people to have their quiet time and reflect on the love of God.
Alolome describes himself as cool, prayerful and God-loving person who dislikes being taken for granted.
“I urge my fans to depend solely on God for directions in all things because He is the only person dependable enough not to let them down,” Alolome said to his fans.
