Isaac Yeboah’s one week celebration marked

Although he died two weeks ago, the ‘one week’ celebration of the death of Isaac Yeboah, manager of highlife legend, Amakye Dede was hosted at the Abrantie Spot at Lapaz, Accra on Saturday, January 16.

This, instead of the traditional one week commemoration happened so Amakye Dede, who was on admission could be a part of it.

Isaac Yeboah, Amakye Dede and his bodyguard were involved in a motor accident at Nsutam on the Accra- Kumasi Highway in the Eastern Region on New Year’s Day.

The accident claimed the life of Isaac Yeboah and left Amakye Dede and his body guard, Prince Mensah, 43, sustaining severe injurie

The one week event attracted people from all walks of life to the venue. Present were Isaac Yeboah’s wife, Nana Dokuaa Adobea and his sons.

Also, some of the well-known faces who graced the event include Kofi Wayo, Socrate Safo, Bandex, Jackie Appiah, George Quaye, Oheneba Kissi, Sokoo Hemaa, Dr. Cann, Akosua Agyapong and many others.

The fatal motor accident occurred when Amakye Dede was scheduled to perform at the Paradise Spot near Linda D’or, a rest stop near the Bunso Junction when a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter mini bus crashed into their stationary car.

According to reports, the driver of the Sprinter bus had tried unsuccessfully to overtake other cars and unfortunately rammed into the vehicle of Amakye Dede while he was changing to go perform, while Isaac Yeboah and Prince Mensah were outside chatting.

Isaac Yeboah has been the Editor for the P&P newspaper for many years and he was also a regular contributor to several entertainment radio shows in Ghana.
