Halle Berry's split from Gabriel Aubry is turning out to be very expensive. The X-Men: Days of Future Past star, 47, has been ordered to pay her ex-boyfriend $16,000 a month in child support, the Associated Press reported last Monday.
The settlement which was approved by Superior Court Judge, Scott Gordon, on May 30 requires the Oscar-winning actress to pay nearly $200,000 a year, plus tuition money, to support their daughter Nahla, 6.
Per the AP, it also calls for her to pay a retroactive payment of $115,000 and $300,000 to Aubry's attorneys to "cover the costs of their custody dispute." The exes will split Nahla's health care expenses.
Although they never married, Berry and French-Canadian model Aubry, 38, dated from 2005 to 2010. After their breakup, they engaged in a very public tug-of-war over Nahla, with the extant star fighting to move her little girl to France against Aubry's wishes.
