Appietus sells beats online

Popular sound engineer, Appiah Dankwa aka Appietus is taking his work to another level.

After producing beats for great musicians like Daddy Lumba, Ofori Amponsah, Wutah, Sarkodie and Kojo Antwi , Appietus feels it is  time to bring his beats to the door step of  ordinary people who cannot afford to purchase his service.

By doing that, the award wining  sound engineer has created a website www.appietus.com  where he sells his beats for $ 200 and $ 600. 

In an interview with Showbiz, Appietus who created the website last month said the initiative is to reach out to everyone who wants to enjoy his services.

“I want musicians in Ghana and abroad to relax and do music from the comfort of their homes by just logging onto the website and download any beat he or she prefers,”he explained.

According to him, the website will help reduce  the incidence of artistes  who are sometimes duped when they send money from  abroad  to purchase a beat . 

“I have had complains of artistes abroad who send in money for beats but the money never gets to me and I believe creating this wesbsite will help curb such problems,” he said.

Appietus added that his beats online will give musicians who already had their own studios an opportunity to choose from his collections.

“Although most musicians have studios in their homes, they are not able to make better beats like I do hence giving them options to choose as many beats as they want from my website to work with,” he said .

He explained that he wouldn’t have to stress himself creating beats for different people under pressure when they could  just log on the website and enjoy different beats ranging from hip hop, afro beat, hip life to highlife.
