Rwandan business delegation visits Reroy Cables
A 32-MEMBER Rwandan business delegation that was in the country recently to explore business opportunities for investment visited Reroy Cables factory at the Tema Industrial Area.
After an hour-long tour of the factory, the Rwandans, who visited the country at the instance of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), said they were impressed with the capabilities of the company.
Reroy Cables is a Ghanaian company that produces fire-resistant electrical cables, conductors and accessories.
The Honorary Consul of Ghana in Rwanda, Mr Dennis Karera, who led the delegation to Reroy Cables factory, said the visit had given the Rwandans the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the operations of the company.

“All these businessmen who visited the Reroy Cables factory are members of the Rwandan Private Sector Federation. They are not only ready to learn from their counterparts like you but are also looking for opportunities to invest in Ghana.”
“Today, Rwanda is recognised as the most competitive and best place to do business in East Africa because of the government’s commitment to the private sector. Rwanda Air, its national airline, also flies to Ghana about five times a week. Our consulate is ready to assist any Ghanaian who wants to do business in Rwanda,” Mr Karera added.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Reroy Cables, Mrs Kate Quartey-Papafio, thanked the Rwandan trade delegation for the visit.
“The private sector, it is said, is the engine of growth for any nation’s economy. So, like my other colleagues of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Reroy Cables is ready to do business in Rwanda. I shall be there soon,” she added.
