Opportunity International assures customers of continued innovation

Opportunity International Saving and Loans Limited, a non-banking financial institution, has promised more innovative products to its customers in the coming years as the company marks its 10th anniversary next year.

Mr Kwame Owusu-Boateng, CEO of the company, in an interview with the Graphic Business during the its Carols Night service in Accra, said those range of products would improve the lives of their cherished clients.

He said in the next quarter of 2014, they intend to expand their services to cover nine regions of the country and hopefully cover the entire country by 2015 in order to impact on the lives of the entrepreneurial poor in the country.

With a current client base of about 335,000, Mr Owusu-Boateng said that had been achieved as a result of their hard work and good products and added that they were going to increase their presence in terms of branch networks across the country.

He said they were first  going to introduce mobile banking where they would go to the clients to transact business as well as a biometric registration system for customers to use in all their banking halls.

Mr Owusu-Boateng also explained that with the collaboration of the Ghana Society for the Physically Disabled, they had provided financial support and financial literacy training to help the under-privileged to manage their own business.

While wishing their clients the best of the Yuletide, he promised to run a-year-long celebration of their 10th anniversary on activities that focus on interaction with their customers and strengthen their relationship with the business community.
