He explained that the digital revolution in the media landscape require that media houses are abreast with the trends to help stay in business.
One of those, he said, is innovation in the way news is packaged and delivered to readers.
The Graphic News App, which is the digital version of the company's newspapers has been in operation since 2015 and offers subscribers the opportunity to access the newspapers right on their mobile devices and desktops.
On the theme of the discussion; 'Building a national equity fund to support SMEs,' Mr Afful said small and medium enterprises are critical to the development of the country hence the need to find solutions to their challenges.
He said the issue of finance is key to their success hence the decision to deliberate on how to build an equity fund that can fund their operations.
