Coca-Cola celebrates 100 years of its iconic bottle
The Coca-Cola Company in Ghana has celebrated 100 years of the company’s iconic Contour Bottle at an event in Accra.
Created in 1915, (and commercialized in 1916) the contour bottle was born out of a need to differentiate Coca-Cola from other brands.
Present at the ceremony were popular radio and TV hosts, media personalities and other invited guests including Abeiku Santana, Bola Ray, Kafui Dey, Afia Schwarzenegger, Amanda Jissih and more.
DJ Andy Dosty was also on deck to provide some classic ‘old school’ music to reflect the journey of the iconic bottle, while soulful singer Nana Yaa performed to thrill guests.
