
Yaw Ampofo Ankrah appointed new Director General of NSA
A journalist, Mr Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, has been appointed the new Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA).
In addition to his role as President of the Ghana Beach Soccer Association, Mr Ankrah will lead the authority’s transformation as Ghana strives for greater sporting success.
A broadcaster with a strong commitment to the growth of sports, particularly in underfunded areas, Mr Ankrah brings a wealth of experience to his new position.
He is expected to work closely with the Sports and Recreation Minister, Mr Kofi Adams in developing, organizing, promoting and managing competitive sports in Ghana.

With the ongoing challenge of maintaining Ghana’s national stadiums to international standards, Mr Ankrah’s role as NSA Director General will be demanding.
