New executive for Greater Accra draught association

New executive members of the Greater Accra Draught Association (GADA) were last Thursday sworn in to steer the affairs of the sport in the region. A quantity surveyor and draught enthusiast, Park Kojo Okyere, is the President and Ishmeal Abdulai is Vice.
The rest are Jerry Gavu and Michael Quaye, a journalist with the Graphic Communications Group Limited.
The Greater Accra Regional Sports Director, Mr Kwame Amponfi Jnr, briefed the players on the importance of the sports.
He tasked participants to strive to make draught a professional sport from from which the players could earn a living.
He charged the new executive members to make the game a national pastime and ensure Ghana competes in the 2014 World Draught Championship in Holland.
