The race, which was the fourth in a series by Velocity club, started at Adenta, and went through Dodowa, Somanya, Adukrom and Larteh but they returned via Ayikumah through Dodowa to Adenta.
Sackey, for the vast majority of the race, was streets ahead of his competitors, thus winning him the King of the Mountain title for being the first to cross the hills at the Adukrom and Larteh points.
The Brands Manager of Cowbell, Joseph Ashong, commended the athletes for their efforts, and gave an assurance for a national cycling championship competition to be organised by Cowbell in Kumasi next month.
