I enjoy watching Konkoni—Hughton
Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton, has described Hafiz Konkoni as a player with potential who can become great in the near future.

The Bechem United striker who scored 15 goals in the just-ended betPawa Premier League was the only local player to have caught the eye of the 64-year-old trainer and has been handed an invitation to be part of the national team.
The Ghana gaffer could not hide his admiration for the Bechem United player when he said at a press conference that the 23-year-old was a star in the making, as he foresaw a bright future for the player.
“I was probably fortunate to see him live last weekend and I have been able to watch him on video, so I think he is a player with a lot of development skills, and speaking to him, he is quite a mature player for his age.
The coach admitted that he was yet to fully understand the local league that was why he tried to visit as many league centres as possible to familiarise himself with the league and hope after some time he’ll get a better appreciation of the league.
“I have to be honest with you, I don’t know him so well, my responsibility over this period is to know the league better. I’ve been trying to participate in as many games as I can, and I will continue to do that.
“And as I continue to do that, I’ll get a better knowledge of the league in general, and more importantly get some knowledge of individual players.
The former Tottenham boss also described the standard of the local league as good, but he was of the opinion that it could improve with time.
