Their triumphs earned them promotions to Davis Cup Africa Group III after defeating Rwanda and Kenya, respectively.

Nigeria, representing Group B, and hosts Rwanda, secured their spots in the finals by finishing as the top in that group while Ghana and Kenya emerged top in Group A

In an impressive display, Ghana demonstrated their superiority over the Rwandan team, clinching a dominant 3-0 victory in both singles and doubles matches. Isaac Nortey secured the first win for Ghana, defeating Junior Hakizumwami 2-0 (6-2, 6-2), followed by Abraham Asaba, who secured another 2-0 (6-1, 6-3) victory against Ernest Habiyambere, sealing Ghana's promotion to Davis Cup Africa Group III. The Ghanaian duo of Samuel Agbesi Osei Antwi and Isaac Nortey also secured a 2-1 (4-6, 6-2, 6-2) win against Rwanda's Ernest Habiyambere and Joshua Muhire in doubles, completing a hat-trick of wins for the West African team.

In the other final, Nigeria, as the top-ranked team in Group B, made a remarkable comeback after trailing Kenya. Kael Shalin Shah's victory over David Ekpenyong (6-1, 6-3) initially put Kenya ahead. However, Nigeria's Christopher Bulus leveled the game with a convincing 6-0, 6-1 victory against Ismael Mzai. The deciding factor came in the doubles match, where Bulus and his teammate Wilson O. Igbinovia defeated Kenya's Keean Shah and Ibrahim Kibet 6-3, 7-6 (4), securing Nigeria's promotion to Group III.
