FIFA U-20 tourney; Satellites face stern French test

Opening games are not usually easy ones, depending on the teams involved and today’s will not be different but the Satellites, world champions in 2009, know a good start could boost their confidence.
Unlike the 2009 squad whose players were quite popular, the current crop of Satellites are relatively unknown but Coach Tetteh believes he has a team that can conquer the world again and help him write his name in the history books as one of the few men coaches who won the Under-20 title more than once.
"This team pleases me as it is like that of 2009. It was a good display of football and wonderful advertisement of African football," he told the GFA’s website ghanafa.org.

Coach Tetteh, nicknamed Borbor, however is aware of the challenge he faces in Group A which also has Spain and USA and how important to start right against France.
