Asky supports Table Tennis League
Asky Airlines has supported the two best players in both the male and female categories of this year's National Table Tennis League with a trip to destinations on the airline’s routes.
The airlines announced their package last Saturday during the climax of the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) League, which saw the Ghana Immigration Service and the Ghana Police Service winning the men’s and women’s divisions respectively.
National top seed, Derek Abrefa, won the best player in the men's division with Beatrice Gyasi becoming the women's champion. Both winners were presented with return air tickets and will decide on their destinations of choice.
In an interview with the Daily Graphic, the Country Director of Asky Airlines, Mr Worlanyo Afadzinu, said the company’s decision to support the two athletes was to help improve the sport in the country.

He noted also that his outfit had been supporting the GTTA for about three years now and would continue to help the association to grow the sport.
"We always want to help these athletes in our own way in order to develop the sport in the country," Mr Afadzinu said.
The President of the GTTA, Mr Mawuko Afadzinu, thanked Asky Airlines for their gesture and said the package would motivate other players to train hard to attain similar heights.
