Aduana FC reappoint Romanian Coach Cioaba Aristica
Ghana Premier League club Aduana FC has announced the reappointment of Romanian coach Cioaba Aristica as their new head coach.
The Romanian coach has been appointed for a third stint as head coach of the club, having previously managed the team in 2011 and 2016.
The Dormaa-based club confirmed the news on Tuesday, December 10, through a Facebook post, which read, “Aristica is home. Welcome back, Chioba.”
This move comes after Aduana FC parted ways with Yaw Acheampong due to a series of disappointing results in the current Ghana Premier League season.
Under Acheampong’s leadership, the team struggled to find consistent form, securing just two wins, six draws, and four losses.
Currently sitting 13th on the league table with 12 points from 12 matches, Aduana FC faces a tough challenge ahead as they look to climb the standings and compete for the league title.
Coach Cioaba Aristica is expected to make an immediate impact as he takes charge of the Fire Boys, with his first test coming next weekend when Aduana FC faces Berekum Chelsea in a Week 13 fixture of the 2024/25 season.
