
10 players honoured as NASCO Women of the Match on WPL Matchday 13
The Malta Guinness Women's Premier League (WPL) delivered thrilling action on Matchday 13, with ten standout performers earning NASCO Women of the Match awards for their exceptional displays across the country.
In Tamale, Savannah Ladies edged past Ampem Darkoa Ladies with a 2-1 victory. Safia Abdul Rahaman, who confidently converted a penalty for the home side, was recognized as the NASCO Player of the Match.
Prisons FC dominated Tamale Super Ladies with an emphatic 4-0 win. Abigail Tutuwaa stole the show, netting a remarkable hat-trick and rightfully claiming the NASCO Player of the Match award.
Kumasi Sports Academy proved too strong for their opponents with a 3-0 victory, and Beatrice Osaah, who bagged a brace, was named the best player of the match.

In a tightly contested game, Dreamz Ladies secured a 1-0 away win against Northern Ladies, thanks to Yaa Abrafi’s solitary goal. However, it was Sarah Nyarko of the away side who impressed the most and earned the NASCO Player of the Match title.
Fosu Royal Ladies secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Supreme Ladies, with Eunice Pokua receiving the top individual honour of the game.
Despite Jonina Ladies falling 1-2 to their opponents, their player Agnes Yeboah put up an outstanding display and walked away with the NASCO prize.
In another key encounter, Hasaacas Ladies dispatched Faith Ladies 2-0, with Rita Musah emerging as the standout performer and winning the prestigious award.
Elsewhere, Lady Strikers triumphed 2-0 over Halifax Queens, with Blessing Fosua earning the top player accolade.
Army Ladies secured a narrow 1-0 win against Epiphany Warriors, with Afia Twumwaa Boadu from the military side being adjudged the NASCO Player of the Match.
Finally, Berry Ladies ran riot with a commanding 3-0 victory over Soccer Intellectuals, and Jemima Twumwaa delivered a performance worthy of the NASCO Player of the Match title.
As part of their prizes, each awardee received an electric stove and a three-in-one electric blender, courtesy of NASCO Electronics.
With only a few matches left in the season, players will be eager to maintain their form as the battle for league supremacy intensifies.
