POJOSS old boys support school
The 1991/93 year group of the Pope John's Senior High School has presented hockey equipment worth GH¢8, 500.00 to their alma mater.
The donation was the old students contribution to step up the playing of hockey in the school which prides itself as the champions of the hockey game among second cycle institutions in the Eastern region.
Presenting the equipment, the president of the group, Mr Francis Tontoh, expressed the hope that the equipment which included fifteen sticks, five balls and goalkeeper kits would go a long way to enable the school to win more laurels during hockey competitions.
He commended a member of the group and a national hockey player, Mr K. Senanu, for his role in facilitating the purchase of the items by the group on discount.
