Maiden Mantsemei Cup Sunday

Ghana is set to welcome a novelty football competition on Sunday as clubs from the lower division gear up to engage each other in the maiden Mantsemei Ghana Cup.

Scheduled for the Carl Reindorf Park at Dansoman, the four-day competition would attract international scouts including renowned Briton, Graham Daniel Hoydorn.

Last Wednesday, the competition received a major boost following the presentation of cash and equipment valued at GH¢15,000. Kingdom Capital also supported with GH¢ 10,000, while Gentile Revival Ministry donated trophies and medals worth GH¢5000.

The competition, which is an initiative of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association, intends to create a football bazaar where talents identified would be supported.

The Managing Director of Kingdom Capital, Samuel Nobi, said he was committed to supporting ideas that promote the development of the youth and open opportunities for them.
