
Liberty goal has revived my confidence — Dauda
Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed says he is optmistic his goal against Liberty Professionals last Saturday will bring back his confidence in his quest to reach his personal goal target for the season.
The Black Satellites forward scored the first goal for the Porcupine Warriors in the first half before a second half solo effort by skipper Eric Donkor sealed the maximum three points for Coach Michael Osei’s charges.
Indeed, until last Sunday, the 20-year-old striker had not scored for his side after scoring a hat-trick against Techiman City in the first round clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi in June.
In an interview with the Graphic Sports yesterday, the talented forward said he was happy to be inching towards the target he set for himself before the start of the season.

“I am very happy for this victory. I have not scored since my hat-trick against Techmian City. Since then I have not been happy with myself. This goal is something special for my career,” he noted.
“Coach Osei played an importanat role in this becuase he kept encouraging me to always keep training hard and concentrate and I am happy that things have turned out this way,” he added.
Dauda further thanked the club’s teeming fans for supporting the club during their diffcult momemts in the second half of the Ghana Premier League.
“We have not enjoyed the best of results in the second half of the season but I want to thank our fans for still staying with us. I promise we will not fail them,” he stressed.
