KATH organises fun games
The management of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, (KATH) has organised fun games to promote physical fitness among the staff of the hospital.
Beside promoting physical fitness the games also sought to promote unity, teamwork and create awareness for quality healthcare at the hospital.
Among the disciplines competed in were soccer, tug of war, sack race, lime and spoon, draught, 50 metre- race and volleyball.
In soccer, defending champions, Oncology, defeated Pharmacy 3-2 during a penalty shootout after a pulsating 1-1draw to lift the giant trophy at stake for the second time.

Aside the trophy, they also took home GH¢500, with the Pharmacy department picking GH¢300 for being the runners-up
The acting Chief Executive of KATH, Mr I. Offeh Gyimah,said it would be difficult for the hospital to promote effective healthcare service when the staff of the hospital were unhealthy, hence the need to sustain the games.
