For the first time in the history of the country’s football, two guest clubs, Ismaily Club of Egypt and Nigeria’s Enugu Rangers will vie for the President’s Cup on July 1, this year.
The two clubs will join two others from the Premier League to be chosen from a text-poll in which fans are expected to text to code number 1721 on all networks.
Disclosing this to the media yesterday at the Accra Sports Stadium, the communication director of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Albert Commey, said two matches would determine the two finalists for the final encounter, adding that all matches, including the finals, will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium.
He added that currently there were no sponsors but corporate entities who wish to sponsor could do so.
