Faisal appeal points loss

Division One League club, King Faisal Football Club has filed before the GFA Disciplinary Committee an application for a stay of execution pending the outcome of their appeal which they filed two days ago.

Faisal were deducted three points after the GFA disciplinary committee upheld a protest filed by Ebusua Dwarfs in respect of their GN Bank Division One League opening week game which was scheduled for the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Saturday, February 21.

Dissatisfied with the decision, Faisal appealed to the FA’s appeals committee to overturn the decision of the disciplinary committee and to request for a replay of the said match.

Faisal, expecting a successful outcome of their appeal, are, therefore, seeking to stay the decision of the disciplinary committee pending the outcome of their appeal. -
