NPP wishes muslims well
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has extended its warmest felicitation to Muslims all over the world.
On the occasion of this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr celebration, the NPP said, “We cannot be indifferent or unconcerned with the growing level of mismanagement, poor governance and leadership that has lowered the dignity and the right to decent life for the mass of our people.”
In a statement signed by the party’s General Secretary, Mr Kwabena Agyepong,it called on Ghanaians to come together and demand accountability, competent leadership and the judicious use of the country's scarce resources in order to promote the welfare of all its citizens and not a select few.
Once again, we join well-wishers across the world in congratulating all Muslims, the statement added.

On the festivities, it said the occasion was an annual feast on the Islamic calendar which was observed by all Muslims to mark the end of Ramadan.
“The significance of Eid-ul-fitr should guide us to be compassionate, tolerant, selfless and committed towards our peaceful coexistence and the sustenance of our democratic values. As Muslims celebrate this important day, we urge them and the rest of Ghanaians to continue to pray for the economic recovery of our nation,” it concluded.
