Graphic Online’s Justice Agbenorsi reports that the High Court in Accra has therefore struck out the application, which sought to put on hold the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) presidential and parliamentary primaries until some alleged anomalies in the register were resolved.
That was after lawyers for the applicant, Dr Kwabena Duffuor, a flag bearer aspirant, withdrew the application at the Court today (May 12).
The lawyer, Opoku Amponsah, said, “I have instructions to discontinue the case.
“The discussion came up this morning for which reason I could not file the necessary processes”, he told the court.
