EC accepts CPP nomination fees
The Electoral Commission (EC) has accepted the nomination fees of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) after the party failed to meet the 12noon deadline.
The party’s chairman, Professor Edmund Delle who was at the EC’s headquarters few minutes to the deadline explained to the Chairperson, Mrs Charlotte Osei that the party was still going through the processes to prepare the banker’s draft.

However, at 12noon, Mrs Osei declared the filing process closed and held a closed door meeting with some officials of the Commission to determine the fate of the CPP.
The Commission has therefore decided to accept the party’s nomination fees.
