Asa B', Apraku fall out of NPP race
Provisional results from the New Patriotic Party's Special Electoral College have Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku and Stephen Asamoah Boateng fall behind their colleagues in the race.
The exercise to select five candidates for the party's flagbearer race in October ended at 3:00pm on Sunday and saw the two men poll seven and thirteen votes respectively as Nana Akufo-Addo swept the polls with some 599 votes.

The Electoral Commission is soon to declare the official results.
Other contests, including Mr. Alan Kyerematen who was expected to give Nana Addo a close race, obtained meagre votes. Alan for instance had 59 votes, Messrs Addai-Nimoh and Joe Ghartey tied at 22 apiece, while Kofi Oseif-Ameyaw had 16 votes.
