The presentation of the items followed requests made by the two institutions to the foundation to support their operations.

Lady Julia Osei Tutu, who is the patron of the foundation, pledged her regular support to the two institutions to enhance their operations at all times.

She urged them to put the items to good use and ensure proper maintenance to prolong their life span.

The foundation, established 13 years ago, has been supporting and assisting various institutions in the country to promote good health, education and other developmental issues.

Among the projects in support of education is the establishment of the Mobile Library Project which has put together 18 desktop computers, 30 laptops and hundreds of reading materials, including textbooks.

The foundation takes these materials to hard-to-reach rural areas where school pupils and students spend some time to read the books while others get the opportunity to use the computers and get access to the internet.

The Executive Director of the Foundation, Dr Thomas Agyarko-Poku, said the foundation was doing everything possible to improve the lives of people and called for support to enhance their operations.

The Medical Superintendent of the Suntreso Hospital, Dr Nana Akomeah, was full of praise for Lady Julia and the foundation for the support and pledged to make good use of the items. The Garden City Special School used the occasion to present a citation to Lady Julia, commending her for her regular support for the school.
