SCC-barrier on Kasoa road floods after Thursday morning rainfall (VIDEO)

A section of the road from SCC junction to Kokrobite junction (old barrier) in Accra was flooded following Thursday morning's rains.
The about two hours of rains rendered that section of the Accra-Kasoa highway unmotorable and resulted in a gridlock of traffic.
Motorists from Kasoa had to divert onto the opposite lane.
Some motorists parked and waited for hours for the water to subside before they continued the journey.
Some cars which tried to drive through the floodwaters got stuck

Apart from the flooded road, some shops by the roadside were also inundated with water.
