Accra-Tema Motorway flooded: Police caution users
The Police has cautioned motorists to drive cautiously after parts of the Accra-Tema motorway was flooded following a downpour on Monday afternoon.
The Police in a statement on its social media channels said: "Motorists plying that stretch should be mindful and reduce their speed limit".
The statement said police officers were at the scene to manage traffic on the road.

An amateur video (below) of the state of the motorway seen by Graphic Online shows that some parts of the road have been flooded.
This has halted the movement of some cars which cannot move through the sections of the road that have been inundated with water.

UPDATE
Graphic Online reporter Benjamin Glover reports that the roads are now motorable after debris was cleared from some drains on the road.
He reports that there is no traffic on the Accra-Tema stretch of the motorway but there is a bit of traffic on the Tema-Accra stretch.
