Parliament reconvenes
Parliament yesterday reconvened for the first sitting of the first meeting of the fourth session of the sixth Parliament, after a month's break, to deliberate on outstanding and new issues.
Opening the sitting, the Speaker, Mr Edward Doe Adjaho, informed the House that Parliament would welcome President John Dramani Mahama to deliver an address on the state of the nation for 2016.
He did not give the date for the delivery of the address.
Mr Adjaho also informed the House about the intended visit of the Italian Prime Minister, Mr Matteo Renzi, to Ghana.

Paperless Parliament
The Speaker said following the mounting of monitors on the desks of Members of Parliament (MPs), there would be limited circulation of order papers.
"We are not going to photocopy as many copies as we used to do," he said.
