Odotobri Rural Bank supports three public institutions
Odotobri Rural Bank at Jacobu in the Amansie Central of the Ashanti Region has presented items worth GH¢8,300.00 to three public institutions as part of their corporate social responsibility in their operational areas.
The items, included a Canon photocopier and printer, a 220V power generator and two sets of Samsung LED 32’ flat screen Satellite television.
The beneficiary institutions are Abuakwa Health Station located 20 metres away from Jacobu, Asawasi District Police Headquarters in Kumasi; and Bekwai SDA Senior High School at Bekwai all in the Ashanti Region.
The Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Mr Siaka Baaba Ahmed, who made the presentations on behalf of the bank, reiterated the bank’s commitment to support a lot more institutions this year.
According to him, the board has approved an amount of GH¢140.000 to be disbursed in the area of CSR and scholarship packages this year. “The objective behind this is to bring development within the bank’s operational territories and also to support dependants of our shareholders” he said.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the District Police Commander, Crimes Officer DSP Francis Mambisi, expressed his gratitude to the bank for the support. He pledged the command’s readiness to put the items donated to good use.
Other representatives of beneficiary institutions also expressed their gratitude and promised to put the items to good use.
All the presentations were made by the Chief Executive Officer, Siaka Baaba Ahmed, with the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr Bernard Asamoah Boateng; the Marketing Manager, Issaka Rasheed and the Assistant Marketing Officer, Kwasi Mensah.
