
NIB supports Legon Police with building materials
The National Investment Bank (NIB), as part of its corporate social responsibility, has supported the Legon District Police in the construction of their new single-storey Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) to enhance effective and efficient policing.
The bank donated building materials consisting of iron rods, cement, various electrical cables and pipes and assorted wood pieces, worth GH¢19,800.00
Chief Superintendent Aboagye Sarpong, the Divisional Commander of the Airport Division; Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Emmanuel Ofori Anokye, the District Commander, Legon and Mrs Favour Fletcher-Ackon, together with other police personnel of the district, received the items on behalf of the Legon District Police from the NIB team led by Mr Charles Wordey, the Head of Corporate Affairs.
Quick response
Chief Superintendent Aboagye Sarpong and his team thanked NIB for the quick response to their appeal and for the kind gesture. He said the completion of the office project would greatly boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the police in the area and its environs.

Mr Wordey stated that NIB would continue to support stakeholders such as the police in the maintenance of law and order.
