Landlord’s son in trouble for stealing
The Odumase Krobo Circuit Court, presided over by Mr Asmah Akwasi Asiedu, has remanded Felix Dautey at the Akuse Prison to reappear later in court for causing unlawful damage and stealing.
The prosecutor, ASP Richmond Akwasi Yeboah, said the complainant, a 32-year-old caterer, resides in the same house with the Dautey at Sra, a suburb of Somanya.
He said the complainant is a tenant in Dautey’s father’s house and for some time now Dautey had been disturbing all the tenants in the house.
According to the prosecutor, on October 19, 2014, the complainant fell sick and went to hospital.
While at the hospital, the complainant received a call from a witness in the case that Dautey had damaged her door and made away with all her items.
Armed with that information, the complainant proceeded to the house and lo and behold all the items in the room were nowhere to be found.
The complainant immediately made a report at the police station and, together with the police and the witness in the case, they went to Dautey’s room and retrieved the items which included a sound system, woofer system, two eight-inch speakers, cloths, bed sheets, Multi TV decoder, CD player, a pair of slippers, men shirts, soap and other items.
