Ghana records 340 new COVID-19 cases and nine deaths
Ghana has recorded nine more COVID-19 deaths and 340 new cases of the illness as of Wednesday, August 19, 2020.
This was contained in the Ghana Health Service (GHS) latest update released today. Per the update, the country’s cumulative case count of COVID-19 rose from 42,653 as of Monday, August 17, 2020, to a current cumulative case count of 42,993.
The country currently has 40,796 recoveries/discharges and 1,949 active cases.
