Suryeyors set for annual week, AGM

Surveyors in the country converge on Accra from tomorrow as they mark the 20th Surveyors Week and 56th Annual General Meeting of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors.


The event will last up to Saturday, March 15, 2025.

The Surveyors Week and Annual General Meeting of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors is a platform for some major activities for the survey fraternity.

Some of these include the election of new executives, elevation of members and induction of newly qualified members, presentation of papers, among others.

The Chairman of the Planning Committee of the 20th Survey Week, Nana Nuamah Kyei Baffuor, indicated that the institution was prepared and had carefully planned for the programme.

He indicated that this year’s Surveyors Week would not only highlight the importance of surveying as a profession to national development, but also promote the leveraging on technology to advance its cause.

He said the incoming President of the institution is a quantity surveyor, who had rich experience to change the fortunes of the institution.

He shared some expectations and highlights of the programme.

The 20th Surveyors Week and 56th General Meeting of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors, which will last from March 8 to 16, 2025, is on the theme: “Harnessing and projecting surveying competences: A catalyst for national development, and embracing emerging opportunities”.
