DPE2025 team briefs Housing Minister on upcoming expo

A team representing the Diaspora Property Expo 2025 (DPE2025) to be held in Philadelphia in the United States later this month, has briefed the Minister of Works, Housing and Water Resources, Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, on the goals of the expo at his office in Accra.

DPE2025 comes off from March 21 to March 23 in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and aims to  connect Ghanaian real estate developers with diasporan investors in the USA and Canada.

During the meeting, the DPE2025 delegation touched on the deep-rooted bonds between the  private sector and the government in positioning Ghana as an ideal  destination for real estate investment from the African diaspora.

DPE2025 is being organised by the Diaspora Property Investment Ltd, Made in Ghana Consulting Ltd, Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA), World Trade Centre of Philadelphia, Nkunim Diaspora City in Mankesim and Atomu Africa Development Services.

They are in partnership with outfits such as the Ministry of Works, Housing and Water Resources, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ghana Embassy in Washington DC, Office of Representative Amen Brown of Pennsylvania and Office of the Mayor of Philadelphia.

About 25 exhibitors in various areas of the real estate and property space in Ghana have registered to participate in the maiden edition of the DPE, which will be held at the 1735 Market Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Thomas Young, President of the World Trade Center of Philadelphia which is hosting DPE2025 and was visiting Ghana, was among the team that met the Minister.  He expressed his appreciation for the Ministry’s backing for DPE2025. 

Also at the meeting were Nana Kwesi Atomu II of Atomu Africa Development, Sidney Justin Tehoda, Verus Nartey, and Nana Obokese, CEO of Nkunim Diaspora City, along with other officials from Diaspora Property Investment Limited.

The Minister congratulated the DPE2025 organizers for promoting Ghana’s real estate industry to a global audience and assured them of the Ministry’s continued support in making the expo a success.
