Constable Iningan boosts image of police
Police Constable Joshua Iningan has brought luster to the image of the Ghana Police Service and honour to himself, following his selfless devotion to duty.
For his exemplary stewardship, the management of Wa-based Delle Kumibe Martin (DKM) Micro-Financial Company, where Constable Iningan occasionally served as a guard, has presented him with a motorbike and also showered him with tonnes of praise.
The officer’s classic performance gave a major boost to the police image cleansing exercise recently announced by the police administration.
According to the management of DKM, Constable Iningan had on several occasions been posted to guard the company, and for the entire period that he was on duty, the management kept an eye on his attitude to work, unknown to him,

The Public Relations Officer of DKM, Mr Christopher Amega Dunu, on behalf of his Managing Director, Mr Delle Kumile Martin, presented the GH¢1, 800 motorbike to the police officer, saying DKM had decided to honour him for his exceptional attitude to work, which had attracted compliments from both clients and workers of the company.
According to the PRO, the policeman, apart from his guard duties, was always ready to assist in any job that demanded an extra hand.
He was especially professional, when the company was besieged by a crowd during the issuance of credit to its numerous customers.
"The policeman ensured that everything moved according to order, making sure that the exercise was carried out on the principle of “first come-first served,” so nobody misbehaved,", he said.
Receiving the motorbike on behalf of Constable Iningan, the Deputy Upper West Regional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police, (ACP) Nana Asuma Hinneh, commended the management and staff of DKM for their kind gesture, which he said would go a long way to motivate other workers to give their best.
