A number of journalists assigned to the presidency at the Flagstaff House are reported seriously injured in an accident at the Shai Hills, just at the outskirts of Afienya near Tema.
The injured have been rushed to the Michel Camp Hospital for attention. The accident happened Thursday afternoon.
The journalists were returning to Accra from Ho where President John Mahama had attended the annual convention of the Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) Church.
Graphic Online understands the accident occurred after the Ford bus on which the journalists were travelling burst a tyre and that some of the injuries are life-threatening.
