Great Nigerian musician, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, will for the second time be celebrated tomorrow, October 15 at a ‘Felabration’ concert at the Alliance Francaise in Accra.
‘Felabration is an annual music concert conceived in 1998 by Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti in honour of her father known for pioneering the Afro-beat style of music. Apart from Nigeria, ‘Felabration’ is now marked in several countries including the United States, Britain and Germany.
Artistes slated for the Accra event include BB Blues, Siisi Frank, The Xtreme Volumes, Eli Amewode, Akablay and Stevoo.
They will play their own material as well as songs by the famous Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer and human rights activist.
