Fan club for Kekeli School Complex

The Junior Graphic Fan Club at the Kekeli School Complex at Aflao has been inaugurated.

With 165 membership out of the 910 student population, the formation of the club is one of the means adopted by the school authorities to sharpen students’ reading, writing and learning skills as well as make them more knowledgeable in current affairs.

It was also a step taken by the school to keep pace with the changing trends in the field of education and promote quality education that would breed quality human resource for the development of the country. 

At an impressive ceremony with choral performances by the school choir, the Volta Regional Editor of the Daily Graphic, Mr Tim Dzamboe, who performed the inauguration stressed the need for the members to nurture the club to be among the vibrant in the country.

He said the idea to have a fan club in such a well-established school was very commendable.

According to Mr Dzamboe, with its huge membership, the club should make its presence felt in all regional and national competitions organised by the Junior Graphic by being among the best.

The five-member executive to steer the affairs of the club comprise; Christopher Dogbatse, President; Suzzy Midadze, Vice President; Morris Tay, Organiser; Diamond Kpogli Amuzu, Assistant Organiser and Christopher Dzidolawo, Secretary. 

In a quiz competition organised as part of the inaugural programme, Edna Ahom Afedo picked the first prize while Pearl Amedorme and Laurenda Avetey took the second and third positions respectively.
