Give God your first fruit to prosper — Pastor Adeboye tells University graduates
At the 15th convocation ceremony held at Redeemer's University campus in Ede, Osun state, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, delivered a powerful message to the graduating senior students.
Pastor Adeboye, who also serves as the University's Visitor, emphasized the significance of presenting one's first fruits to God as a means to receive abundant blessings.
Represented by Pastor Olukayode Pitan, Chairman of the School's Board of Trustees, Pastor Adeboye stressed the divine rewards that await those who faithfully give through offerings and tithes.
He urged the graduating students to remain focused on their faith and to not allow worldly attractions to divert them from their devotion to God, emphasizing that this foundation is essential for building a prosperous nation.
In his address, Pastor Adeboye stated, "To the graduating students, I congratulate you very warmly. As you exit from the university, don’t allow the world and its lust to distract you to take the fear of God in you out; practice godliness. Be a lover of God and his word, and remember that all things answer to prayer if rightly done. God is the rewarder, give to him your first fruit, tithe and offering; nothing can stop your prosperity. Always remember your Alma Mater as you go. God, who is the owner of Redeemer University, will bless you."
