South African gospel star for Celestial Praize

Mary-Jane Matodzi, a former lead singer with the acclaimed South African gospel group, Joyous Celebration, will be the special guest performer at Celestine Donkor’s fifth Celestial Praize concert scheduled for Monday, September 21 at the Tesano Baptist Church in Accra.

An annual worship music event to help deepen the spirit of appreciation in Christian lives, Celestial Praize has gradually matured into a show cheerfully patronized by people from all sorts of Christian backgrounds.

Celestine featured on a Mary-Jane live recording project in South Africa when she went solo and the former Joyous Celebration member says it is time for her now to step up and support her Ghanaian sister at Celestial Praize 2015.

Also expected to perform at the programme are OJ, KODA, Joyce Blessing, Celestial Breed and Uncle Ato. Proceeds from the show would go to support a women’s empowerment project initiated by Celestine.
