Voting begins for VGMA 2016

Every year, the release of nominees for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) generates a buzz.

And the commencement of voting turns the heat up in the race to win at the biggest event on the Ghanaian entertainment calendar.

And the race has begun and the only way one can ensure their favourite emerges winner is to vote massively for him or her.

This year’s release of nominees an interesting turn as those given the nod were announced every hour on radio, TV and online.

Social media was buzzing with reactions as many began to argue about who should win what and who deserved to be on the list or not.

The only way for fans to ensure that their favourite nominees win is to vote for them.

The public has 40 percent of the voting power for all public voting categories except for the Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year which gives the public 100 percent voting power.

The artistes have done their part, they have released tracks that are worthy of nomination, now it’s the turn of fans to return the favour by voting.

The voting instructions are as follows; to vote for Artiste of the year, text A to 1767 and for Vodafone Song of the Year, text B to 1767 for the nominees and for the rest of the categories, text C to 1767 and follow the prompt.
