Video of Free Up Jacob out

New dancehall artiste, Sean Taylor is out with a video of his song, Free Up Jacob, which was released early this year.

The video which was shot by Media Gang and released last week, talks about injustice being meted out to a friend, Jacob, from Nima. 

According to him, Jacob has been lanquishing in prison on remand with no criminal charges preferred against him since he was arrested about three years .

According to Sean Taylor, real name, Theophilus Tettey Taylor, he made the song as a result of the hurt and emotions he is experiencing because of Jacob’s situation.

In addition to that, he is sure there are many others in similar situation as Jacob and he feels singing about it will bring some attention to their plight.

In the video which was shot in Nima, Accra, Sean Taylor explains his belief that everyone deserves to be given the opportunity for a fair trial. In the video, angry ghetto youth are seen expressing their views in support of Sean Taylor’s campaign for the release of his friend.

Known popularly for his song, Everybody Bard, Sean Taylor hopes his Free Up Jacob will get Jacob freed or at least, prompt the authorities to fix a date for a trial in order to determine his fate.
