Two to go out of MTN Hit-Maker
After three performances with no eviction so far at the ongoing MTN Hit-Maker contest, the show’s producers say two contestants will definitely be shown the exit this weekend.
The last show was another tension-filled one. All the 12 contestants as well as the three judges thought there would be an eviction.
Supporters of the various contestants made their usual noises and prayed for their favourite acts to stay on.
Emcees Bola Ray and Peace Hyde managed to hold on to the ‘secret’ till the very end before letting it out that all the contestants would be back for the subsequent show.
The 12 contestants are R Tay, Leety, Mina, Mac-M, Snow B, Torgbe, Papa, Naba, Sam B, Anji, Fameye and Ink (duo).
There is no trick or ‘secret’ up anybody’s sleeve this time around and all the acts have been asked to put themselves in the right frame of mind for what is coming.
“Nobody knows who would be the first to leave the show so we are expecting the contestants to put in their best and pray the votes come in to help retain them in the competition,” judge Bessa Simons said. Okyeame Kwame will be the guest judge on the show.
The MTN Hit-Maker airs on Saturdays on TV3, eTV, GH One and 4Syte TV from 6.00pm to 7.00pm.
The programme is repeated on Sundays on Metro TV and Multi TV’s Cine Afrik channel from 7.00pm to 8.00pm.
