Stars who defied Grammy warning

They were warned to keep covered up. But the chance to flash some skin and to steal the limelight proved too much for some of the Grammy Awards female attendees.

One of the biggest offenders was singer D'Manti. While the singer has yet to hit the big time, her see-through dress was landing her lots of attention on the red carpet during the 55th annual Grammys in Los Angeles, California last Sunday.

Others who also dared to bare included Kelly Rowland, Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry and Alicia Keys.

CBS, which screened the awards, warned that body exposure would not be tolerated at the event. But many threw caution to the wind, donning see-through tops, showing off sexy side boob and wearing dresses with splits that never seemed to end.

D'Manti, her debut single Tonight peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Club Play charts manged to flash both cleavage and side boob and almost everything else in the sheer dress which had small sequined areas protecting her from being completely exposed.

But she was not the only ignoring CBS Wardrobe Advisory which was emailed to all performers and leaked to Deadline last week.

But Kelly Rowland was not letting that stop her showing off her enviable figure in a highly structured but highly revealing dress. The floor length gown flashed some major cleavage with strategically placed panels protecting her modesty.

Alicia Keys broke the ban twice - on the red carpet in a daring black dress with snakeskin top half and then again on stage in an LBD with see-through panelling.

Katy Perry also looked like she was dangerously close to a wardrobe malfunction in a cleavage bearing Gucci dress.
