Queendalyn Yurglee delivers The Birth EP

WHEN Gospel singer, Queendalyn Yurglee released Honhom Kronkron, a single, featuring Abaawa Connie and Diana Hopeson in March this year, she mentioned the song formed part of a bigger project that will drop later in the year.

After four months of promoting Honhom Kronkron, Queendalyn fondly known as Arkbearer is out with an EP titled The Birth which falls in line with her commitment to spreading the salvation message of God and usefulness of the Holy Spirit to the Christian faith.           

The five songs on the EP which dropped on Sunday, August 6, are Wotim Ho Daa(You remain the same), Honhom Kronkron, Hold My Hands, Izuru( which means you deserve praise in Igbo) featuring Mike Aremu and Come and See featuring Akesse Brempong.

Wotim Ho Daa, Honhom Kronkron, Hold My Hands and Izuru were recorded by Mordecai, and mixed and mastered by music producer, Francis Osei. While Come and See was produced by LaxioBeats.

Wotim Ho Daa is a worship piece which eulogises the greatness of God and how He has remained the same since time immemorial.

Honhom Kronkron explains how the Holy Spirit is a helper while it is a time of testimony on Hold My Hands.

Taking inspiration from Deuteuronomy 31:8, Queendalyn sings about how God has been her ever present help in moments of despair and very sure that God deserves the praise for the victory over her challenges on Izuru.

Tapping into the new wave of Amapiano beats and blending with Afro Gospel, Come and See, inspires a praise and dance mood in listeners.

The tune draws its inspiration from Psalm 66:44-5 which reminds listeners of God’s good deeds to mankind for which they always sing His praises.

In a chat with Graphic Showbiz, Queendalyn expressed lots of positivity for The Birth EP offering a unified theme to uplift and help listeners to build a better relationship with God.

“It is my prayer that this song will bring a Godly encounter and an inner chamber worship experience to everyone,” she stated.

Queendalyn, born of Ghanaian and Nigerian parentage released her debut song You are God in 2019.

She groomed her craft as a backing vocalist for a number of musicians including Sonnie Badu, Nigeria’s Tim Godfrey, Sunny Nneji and the late Sammie Okposo.
