Mirror Ball patrons bring out their Polo shirts
The last Tulip Mirror Ball event was themed ‘Polo Play’ and patrons came out in their variety of Polo shirt brands.
The good old original Lacoste brand was there but so also were others like Hackett, Ralph Lauren Hilfiger and Nautica. Whether it was collars up for that “fresh” look or the orthodox way of laying flat and cool on the shoulders, it was all indeed a sight to behold.
Early birds were treated to a variety of cocktails inspired by Kalahari bitters. Francis and Cynthia Agyeman won the prize for best dressed couple and they were rewarded with a night’s free accommodation complete with dinner and breakfast at the Golden Tulip as well as two gift vouchers to get special treatments at Tranquility Spa in Accra.
The turnout was good as always in the Branche Lounge on the last Friday of every month. Deejay Blow, keeping with tradition, kept the crowd occupied with hit after hit of old school goodies.

The next Mirror Ball event is slated for October 25 wand ill be themed ‘Fire & Ice’ where the ladies will be dressed in red while the gentlemen come in white.
The Tulip Mirror Ball is organised by Golden Tulip Hotel and Tag Team. It is sponsored by Kalahari Bitters, Vodafone and supported by Inkit, Tranquility Spa and Y 107.9FM.
